Microbubble Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Ryo Takabayashi; hereinafter "the Company"), which develops the nano-bubble system "marbb(Marb)" for beauty salons, will release "CLOFF bymarbb(Cloff by Marb)," an optional chlorine removal product for salon-exclusive models, on October 1, 2023.
Chlorine (CL) Removal (OFF) Options for Professionals Facing Water
Under the concept of "A professional's dedication to water," our company offers the salon care series nano-bubble system, "marbb2/3," which is currently used in approximately 6,000 beauty salons nationwide (as of September 2023).
Chlorine in tap water oxidizes proteins that make up the skin and hair, reducing their moisturizing function. To fulfill requests such as our commitment as professionals to "treatments gentle on hair and scalp" and welfare benefits for staff suffering from skin irritation, we are releasing "CLOFF by marbb," a chlorine removal option product for professional beauty salons that can be easily started from 20 yen per day.

It has been confirmed that CLOFF by marbbcan remove 99%or more of residual chlorine in tap water.

Increased moisture in hair and skin
It has been confirmed that when used together withmarbband CLOFF by marbb, hair moisture content (hydration) increases by approximately 3.3 times compared to tap water. Additionally, it has been confirmed that skin moisture content (hydration) increases by approximately 9.5 times compared to tap water when used together with marbband CLOFF by marbb.
※2 Hair moisture content (hydration) measurement test: Hair was immersed in warm water heated to approximately 40°C for 20 minutes, then dried. Hair moisture was measured before and after immersion using an infrared moisture meter.
*3 Skin moisture content (hydration) measurement test: Hands were immersed in water regulated to approximately 25°C for 3 minutes, and the condition before and after immersion was measured with an infrared moisture meter.
Reduces color fading and enhances perm waves.
In an experiment comparing the color fading degree when using tap water and CLOFF by marbb, it was confirmed that using CLOFF by marbbresults in less fading and a better feel compared to tap water. Furthermore, an experiment comparing the perm setting when using tap water and CLOFF by marbbshowed that CLOFF by marbballows for a more pronounced perm ridge and stronger curl expression compared to tap water.
